Fourth Grade

Fourth grade lessons explore food science and locally grown foods of Washington. Fourth grades practice math skills, and learn the science behind what we eat and how we use food as fuel. Understanding where our food comes from and how to eat local is an important practical skill that students develop through these lessons. Recipes highlight local and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
