Second grade lessons are an evolving continuation of the kindergarten and first grade curriculum. By reinforcing lessons about the five food groups and exploring new information about the different vitamins and minerals that build healthy bodies, students begin to become nutrition experts. Second grade recipes involve a more hands-on experience that allows students to practice their kitchen skills.
